Talk About Curing Autism

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting families affected by autism. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help improve the quality of life for people with autism.

TACA Nevada holds Autism Learning Seminars, Coffee Talks and family events throughout the year. Our seminars feature educational speakers on important topics for ASD families. Our Coffee Talks and family events provide more settings where families can informally network, share resources and speak with seasoned parents.

Each TACA group maintains a resource library of the latest autism books and DVDs/CDs that can be checked out by members at no charge.

Grant A Gift Autism Foundation

Grant A Gift Autism Foundation was founded in 2009, and grew out of the struggle of a mom whose young son, Grant, was diagnosed with autism.

Mission: Grant a Gift Autism Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization helping children, youth and their families fight Autism by providing diagnostic and treatment funding, support services, vocational training, transition planning, and education.

Vision: Grant a Gift’s goal is to provide family centered care through one or more of its programs and services, and help prepare individuals with autism to live as independent adults with functioning roles in the community.

Grant a Gift acts as a Community Safety Net by filling in treatment and funding gaps not covered by state and federal resources or insurance. Our organization achieves this by collaborating with other organizations, state agencies, or providers to give children with Autism Spectrum Disorder growing up in Nevada a better quality of life and future as they transition into adults.
