The first Operation Jack race was the inaugural Operation Jack Marathon on December 26, 2010. The intent of the race was a one-time event that would mark the conclusion of Operation Jack, which was originally intended to be a one-year mission. Instead, it marked the beginning of a new chapter. Now, the Operation Jack Marathon is the primary fundraiser for the Operation Jack Autism Foundation.
There are two other races associated with Operation Jack, one in Oregon and the other in Pennsylvania.
