CJ’s Resolution Challenge
CJ’s Resolution Challenge is a race put on by autism mom Janell Weaver with the help of Operation Jack. Janell approached Operation Jack in 2013, looking to do something to make a difference in honor of her son Cullen (CJ), who has autism. With a little bit of help from us, and a lot of hard work of her own, she’s successfully hosted the event twice in Mifflinburg, Pa., and it’s now an annual tradition. The first Saturday in January, runners from all over Pennsylvania convene on the event to have fun, run hard, joke about the cold and support a great cause.
The races have brought in more than $20,000 in the first two years, and Janell is already at work planning to making the 2016 event the most successful CJ’s Resolution Challenge yet. She maintains a race website at resolutionchallenge.org.
