PLATOONS

A special page for your child!
Whether you're planning on running 60 marathons or one 5K next year, your goal is the same: To fight autism one mile at a time. However, everybody's driving force is different. For Sam Felsenfeld, it's his son Jack. For Jenn and Jamie Fellrath, it's their son Duncan.

Jenn and Jamie are going to build a platoon (team) in honor of their son, Duncan, and we're going to spotlight Duncan right here.

On this page, we'll display a brief mention of each platoon, along with a photo and a link to the individual platoon page. On that platoon page, we'll publish your story (make it as short or as long as you want!), along with as many photos and videos as you'd like.

It's an easy opportunity to participate with Operation Jack and make a difference in your loved one's honor. It will help you encourange your friends and family to participate, and it will inspire others to build platoons, too!

As with everything at Operation Jack, there are no fundraising minimums. If you're interested in starting a platoon, contact us and we'll let you know the super-simple specifics!

PLATOONS

Team Reid
Team Reid was started in 2008 in an effort to memorialize Reid Brian Thompson (1996-2007) by raising funds for Autism research. Reid was a talented, handsome, intelligent young man who was diagnosed with Autism at a young age.  While the cause of Reid’s death is unknown, Team Reid works to support meaningful research in the Autism field.

Team Fellrath
Autism does not just affect Duncan, autism affects our entire family, our extended family, our friends, and pretty much anyone who comes in contact with us (hence Team Fellrath). Duncan is a bright, intelligent, charming, and witty boy who loves his Mom (Jenn), Dad (Jamie) and his little sister (Moira); as we love him for who he is.

Team Sebastian
Team Sebastian was started in August 2009 by Michele and Adam Klein in support of Operation Jack. They have three children: Francesca (Frankie) age 14, Sebastian age 5, and Anderson age 1. Sebastian was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 2008 at the age of 3.

Team 26.2 for ASD
Our son Jack, born in July 2005 was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by our school district back in August 2008.  He received a medical diagnosis back in September 09' from Fraser in Minneapolis.
