Sam, Hope everything goes well with Jack, Angel and I will be praying for you guys. Alos the race idea thing seems awesome. Don't even get Team Bridgeforth started...you just might be paying for 5 brothers in a race.

I haven't had to have a child as old as yours go through an MRI, but one of mine had to have both an EEG and an MRI a couple years ago. My EEG experience wasn't as bad as yours, though I did have to occasionally hold the arms. The kid got through the MRI fine (I wasn't allowed in, obviously). Not sure how they sedated mine (he was in the hospital), but it wasn't an issue.

Just know that it will be done, and just pray that you can find something of use. Ours didn't show anything, which in a way was actually a good thing.

Dang it! We were hoping the Temple Grandin race would be in some other month than September. Asia is invited to a Best Buddy Challenge race in Cali in September, and I don't think I can get the time off to travel twice.......Oh well, maybe if you do it again next year!

Good luck with the MRI tomorrow. What are they looking for?

Congrats on marathon # 100! That's just amazing! What kind of cake is Tiff making? You know we'll all want a full race report after. And, FWIW, I don't think it will affect your Utah marathon at all........I predict you'll still qualify for Boston!

Sam, though it is only a number it's a big number. I'm not sure I've run 100 races in the past 6 year, though I may be close. I just completed a dry run for my first triathlon and I'm leaving for BBQ Fest in Memphis this afternoon. I'll be thinking about you running 26.2 while I'm chowing down on some ribs. All the best!

You're a softie. As soon as you finish your 100th marathon with your family there to see you achieve that "milestone", it will become a big deal to you. They will always say they were there for #100 and hearing them say that will make it more than "just a number."
